My work experience

As a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, I am extremely passionate about enhancing emotional resilience and psychological wellbeing. I specialise in supporting organisations to develop and maintain a culture which prioritises and nurtures a strong value based and ethical stance. This includes placing an importance on employee wellbeing and collective care by drawing evidenced based psychological therapies and practices.

I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including primary care based in GP surgeries, homeless settings, early intervention, assertive outreach, medical psychology, learning disabilities, eating disorders, CAMHs, community rehabilitation and staff support services. I have served as an expert member of a NICE guidelines committee representing mental health and substance misuse perspectives. I have developed and lead services, supported other organisations, staff teams as well as working clinically with individuals experiencing severe and multiple disadvantages.
